Courtney and Ryan’s January Florida wedding at Mission Inn Resort was absolutely stunning!! The weather was beautiful and chilly (for Florida!!), yet the whole bridal party took the wind like a champ!
Jon and I loved getting to know Courtney and Ryan throughout the wedding process, over dinner, at their engagement session, over phone calls and also through a mini session I got to photograph when we visited FL over the holidays last year! Since I’ve known them they added another pup to their family so both of their fur-babies made an appearance during their wedding day, probably one of my favorite parts!!
Their wedding had an assortment of gorgeous tropical touches that Courtney added throughout the details of the day! 🌴 You’ll see some of them in these photos (like the gorgeous bouquet by @inbloomflorist ) At their first look, they read their vows to each other while standing on a dock surrounded by beautiful towering trees! It was an incredible moment from their day. Our sweet couple also decided to do a “last dance” instead of a first and it was so intimate, just a moment at the end of their wedding day, just for them. Then they ran through the sparklers together to end their best day ever!!
Seeing couples make their wedding day unique to them is one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer! Jon and I feel so honored to still have FL bride and grooms that want us as their photographers despite living in SC! It seriously means the world! We appreciate you Courtney and Ryan!
