As we sat in the turn lane for what seemed like a couple of hours, I couldn’t think of a bride who would’ve handled this bizarre situation as gracefully as she did.
Just an hour before they were supposed to say “I do”, the only road to their venue became blocked by the police while they tried to catch a thief and keep anyone driving in and out of the area, safe. I can honestly say that has never happened on a wedding day. As Ally, her bridesmaids, guests of the wedding, Jon and myself, sat in the turn lane for 45 minutes, it was the biggest relief when the police drove out onto the main road and the red arrow turned green!
The venue did an amazing job figuring out how to get their schedule back on track even though the ceremony was 30 minutes behind! Through it all, Ally and Jordan were optimistic, went with the flow of the new schedule and it all turned out beautiful! I’m also very thankful that the police kept everyone safe on their special day!
Every word that was said about the character of Ally and Jordan during the toasts portion of their wedding, Jon and I could attest to after meeting with them, only three times.
They are genuine, kind-hearted, down-to-earth people. It was so refreshing to see how their families had already become one, years before their wedding day! Ally and Jordan grew up together and have been dating for several years, so this wedding was a long time coming. We feel so blessed that they chose us to document such a special day in their life and are thankful how all of their family and closest friends made us feel like family during their wedding day.
I am SO excited to share a bunch of favorites from Ally and Jordan’s wedding day (our first wedding back after having Landon! )!!
A huge thank you to all the vendors who made this wedding day extra beautiful!
