I am so excited to share this romantic, rainy wedding day at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel in Landrum, South Carolina. Rebecca and Tyler’s wedding day was so special, and I couldn’t have been more excited to capture their love story once again—this time as they said, “I do.”
Despite the rain, their wedding day was filled with beauty, joy, and excitement that radiated through every moment. As their wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture these precious memories, all while carrying (I was 7 months pregnant!) my own little guy on the way!
The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, with the rain and extreme fog only adding to this cozy yet beautiful wedding day. Their first look was so emotional and I most definitely was teary watching Tyler’s face when he saw his beautiful bride!
Adding to the special day, the Henson’s had a live cellist playing melodies, that created a serene and soulful soundtrack as Rebecca and Tyler exchanged their vows. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, this couple was warmly celebrated, making it clear that this was just the beginning of their new journey together as one.
One of the highlights of the day was the sweet, unforgettable moment in the bridal suite—a true “Princess Diaries” moment! Becca’s best friends gathered around her to reveal her stunning bridal hair & makeup, and the room was filled with squeals, laughter, and happy tears. It was a picture-perfect moment that captured Becca’s joyful spirit and the love surrounding her.
Another favorite moment was when Becca, Tyler, and I decided to drive down the mountain to hopefully move away from the fog to see the stunning views of Glassy Mountain! We were SO relieved when we drove further down and found that it was completely clear of fog!! Crazy enough, after we left for the reception, our sweet bride and groom got stopped by a family of bears crossing towards the bottom of the mountain!! What a wild moment I’m sure they’ll always remember about their wedding day.
From their adventurous engagement session at Max Patch Mountain to their dreamy wedding at the Cliffs at Glassy Chapel, it has been an absolute honor to be part of Rebecca and Tyler’s journey. Their story is one of love, laughter, and a deep connection that transcends any weather, and I’m so grateful to have been there to document it all. Congratulations y’all!!
