A Spring Wedding at the Vinoy | Mr + Mrs Knabel

Just hours before we arrived at the Vinoy to start photographing Bethany and Rob’s wedding, there was nothing but rain in the forecast. Thankfully, on the way there, the clouds began to clear and the most beautiful weather showed up and stayed for the rest of their special day!

Bethany has impeccable taste and every part of their wedding day was full of gorgeous details! From the soft pastel color palette, to the amazing florals by 2Birds Events, to the framed table numbers displaying a map of Germany, the location Rob and Bethany are being stationed (just weeks after their wedding!) for the next few years as Rob is in the Army. It will be a wonderful adventure and an exciting start to their married life together!

Their ceremony took place in the Vinoy’s Tea Garden where a fountain laced with florals made for a perfect backdrop! Bethany wore her Great Grandmother’s earrings while she placed Rob’s wedding band (made by her father) on his finger, after the two of them exchanged the most poetic vows Jon and I have ever heard! They had everyone tearing up! Something I really loved was, Rob’s father led everyone in a worship song which was such a special part of their ceremony. Soon after, they sealed their marriage with a kiss and walked down the aisle so excited to be husband and wife!

Their reception was stunning and filled with their closest friends and family, a lot of them came in from out of town! It was extra exciting for Jon and I because we knew quite a few of their guests (which always makes for fun reception photos!!)! The speeches that were given by Bethany’s Sister Bre and Rob’s best man, Tyler, were stinking awesome!! I would say speeches are one of my favorite parts of weddings because It’s like a little sneak peek into their life and love story through the eyes of some of the people who know them best. (Those of you who know me, know I’m a sucker for love stories! #sappy) After dancing the night away, Rob and Bethany walked through a sparkler to their happily ever after…or should I say, their toilet papered car…48 ROLLS WORTH! hah! Yep, not kidding! I’ve got pictures to prove it at the bottom!

I am extremely happy for my sweet friend Bethany and her now HUSBAND, Rob!! You guys are embarking on the best adventure yet and I know God has big plans for your lives!
