Last Month, we had the great honor of celebrating Thomas and Rachel’s marriage!! It was such an intimate time we got to witness, with all the glory given to God throughout the entire day. It was incredibly moving.
They had communion together after their first look and both were prayed over by their bridal party. You could just feel the Holy Spirit in the room as Rachel’s bridesmaids spoke words of truth and encouragement over her before their ceremony. It was incredible and I felt so blessed that my job allowed me to capture such a moving moment.
The weather was cloudy for 90% of the day (SO glad it didn’t rain!!) but during their ceremony as they sang worship songs before their vows, the sun peeked through the clouds and it was marvelous!
I truly love when so many parts of a wedding day point back to God, because really, that’s the reason for marriage. To honor God, the one who created it in the first place.
Their reception was a blast!! They also had family members from all around getting to watch on zoom! Rachel’s sister even gave her toast through the microphone while on zoom, which I know was so special to both of them. After a delicious dinner, the dance floor was full for the rest of the night! And you guys.. that’s where we hung out because believe it or not, it was COLD that evening and windy!! Very unlike FL but the dance floor kept everyone warm! They excited their wedding through sparklers held by their best friends and family members, it was the best way to end the night!
