Photographing family milestones are a huge part of why I became a photographer. I believe that all milestones in your life (big or small!) should be celebrated. When you photograph each milestone, they can be passed down from generation to generation. Your family members can relive your milestones forever. 

I was fortunate enough to capture a beautiful milestone in Alan and Sarah’s family on a chilly day in January. Alan is the pastor at Haven Ridge Church in the Greer area. Some of his congregation got together and gifted their family a mini session with me at Greer City Park to celebrate that their little girl’s adoption was finalized! 

The adoption process is not easy, so I know the Burchfields were so grateful for it to be finalized. It was a bitterly cold day, but you would never know by the smiles on their faces. I was able to see all of the kiddo’s personalities come out during the single portraits of each of them, and they were all so much fun to get to know! We all laughed as the kids ran around Alan and Sarah during the session, and they did every silly thing I asked them to do.
