Friends, I’ve gotta say, this is one of my most favorite family sessions ever!!

Kat and Josh are a past bride and groom of mine thanks to my sweet friend Laura! Their little boy, Callan, is turning 1 this weekend and they needed updated family photos and some birthday pictures!

So, we woke up before the crack of dawn and headed to the beach for a beautiful sunrise! Much to our surprise, there was a TON of people already there when we arrived… we soon found out there was a triathlon going on!! Luckily, the beach is HUGE and you’d never know there were hundreds of people all around! Callan is totally a model baby and did amazing during the session!! I loved getting to see this adorable family (the last time I saw them (in person) in 2014 for their wedding!!) and photograph them in the dreamy sunrise light! Not to mention, witnessing him eat his first cake! He literally dug in…with no prompting!
