Brady and Hannah are high school sweethearts and I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session a few months back, and boy was it something special! Brady is a pastor at a church in Columbia, South Carolina, and Hannah is currently studying at Anderson University to get her bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Last July, Brady proposed to Hannah at the beautiful Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island! 

High school sweethearts are a different kind of love, let me tell you! They have grown up together, they have been through the emotional high school years and they have stuck by each other every step of the way. They have already loved eachother a lifetime!

The Session

We started the session off at the stunning Rock Quarry Garden. The garden is surrounded by wildlife and the most amazing flower beds. The Rock Quarry is actually sunken down right in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood in downtown Greenville. If you were driving by, you’d never know it was there! A secret garden if you will. We then took a stroll to Grace Church in Downtown Greenville, which made for a clean backdrop with neutral color hues so the light can bounce onto their natural skin tones. The morning of the session it rained really hard but it stopped soon before we started and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! 

Brandy and Hannah are some of the nicest people I have ever met, we bonded right away when we had our first call. When my mom passed in November, they brought us over a delicious meal and continued praying for our family. It means so much that I have couples who care about me and my family. I can’t wait to watch them grow together as a married couple!

Their laughs were contagious, it was such a fun day! I can’t wait for their August wedding. Their wedding day is on my parent’s wedding anniversary, which is such a bittersweet day for me. See you at the alter Brady and Hannah and thank you for trusting me with your engagement session!
