Furman Rose Garden Engagement Session

I am so excited to share this beautiful Furman Rose Garden engagement session with you! The ring shots alone will take your breath away!

It was May 2022, and the rose garden was in full bloom, making my job as an engagement and wedding photographer even easier!

I loved capturing this very special milestone for Chris and Meghan, an adorable Georgia couple, who drove 4 hours to Greenville for their engagement photos at Furman University!

Before their journey from Georgia to Greenville, I had the opportunity to connect with them and hear more about their love story, and how God connected them.

Feeling both inspired and honored to take their engagement and wedding photos, I arranged to meet with the newly engaged couple in downtown Greenville at Luna Rosa for our date night consultation!

While discussing their upcoming wedding, I learned that after meeting on Hinge in 2020, Meghan and Chris took their time getting to know one another. They waited to meet, and once they finally did during Christmas week, their interest and intentionality about each other grew.

Within the following year, as they trusted God to write their love story, Chris won over the hearts of Meghan and her sweet son, Liam. Getting down on one knee in Destin, Florida, Chris surprised Meghan with a beach proposal and caught every moment on camera. It was lovely hearing more about how they met and all the sweet details of their proposal!

Four weeks later, I captured the start of their next chapter in a fully-bloomed rose garden, which I believe was a depiction of God’s redemptive love for Chris and Meghan.

I’m truly inspired by their faith in Jesus, their love story, and how perfect their engagement photos turned out—despite it calling for terribly rainy weather earlier that week!

A month after taking their engagement photos, we flew to Florida to capture their beautiful beach wedding, which will be featured on the blog next week!!
