I am so excited to share this beautiful summer bridal session at The Venue at Falls Park in Greenville, South Carolina! From the touch of blush rose bouquet to the classic wedding gown, this bridal session was so sweet to capture as a wedding photographer!
Despite the heat of June, Julie, the bride-to-be, was fully committed to taking beautiful portraits in her wedding dress. Her gown was gorgeous with a classic bodice and intricate lace overlay on the skirt! And her bouquet was a stunning array of ivory and blush roses that brought the essence of spring blooms into this summer bridal session.
Julie was also encouraged by her sweet Mama while we were taking photos! She helped keep an eye on any dress wrinkles and was the perfect veil-fluffing assistant! I loved spending more time with them before capturing Julie and Max’s special day as their wedding photographer.
We had to use our time super strategically to avoid the sweaty mess that June was ready to throw our way! (I was also about halfway through my pregnancy with Alden, so I had to drink a ton of water during the session so I didn’t overheat!)
Photographing a session at a (new-to-me) venue is always a little nerve-racking in the best possible way because it helps get my creativity pumping! These bridal portraits were a beautiful success and I am thrilled with how they turned out!
Taking bridal portraits is an experience I truly enjoy and something I highly recommend adding to your wedding experience. They are a wonderful way of getting extra comfortable in front of my camera before the big day. It also allows me as your wedding photographer to get to know you better and to capture lovely portraits of you in the dress you’ve been dreaming of before your special day!
