I’m beyond excited to share Courtney’s stunning storybook bridal session at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina!
With its Tuscany cottage-inspired architecture, this venue created the perfect backdrop for this dreamy bridal shoot. It was a true joy to capture the essence of such a unique and stunning location for Courtney’s bridal session.
Courtney was an absolute dream in her wedding gown, gracefully gliding through the Tuscan-inspired surroundings. Every detail, from the vibrant bridal bouquet by Renee Burroughs Design to the intricate shots of her rings on top of a piece of her mother’s veil to the stunning invitation suite, designed by her (now) sister-in-law, was intentionally planned to reflect Courtney’s personality and poise.
It’s always an honor to capture moments that convey a bride’s individuality. Standing tall (like a model I might add) with class and grace, Courtney radiated confidence and elegance, and it was INCREDIBLE to capture this on camera!
The First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg was the perfect setting for her portraits with its old-world style and storybook flair. Every shot was carefully curated, from the close-up details of her floral bouquet to the personal touch of incorporating their class rings into the session.
Taking bridal portraits ahead of the wedding day is something I always recommend to my brides. Not only does it give you a chance to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, but it allows me, as your wedding photographer, to get to know you better! This makes your special day run smoothly and provides us more time to capture other important moments!
It was such a joy to share this experience with Courtney and her sweet Mama. We spent the warm June afternoon together, building trust before the big day and sharing moments that made this day even more special. The excitement and joy they felt were evident and I truly loved seeing their genuine interest in my process of capturing the detail shots!
Less than two months later, I love that we had more time on Courtney’s wedding day for other memorable moments because the detail shots were already taken during the bridal session!
