I am so excited to share this charming and sweet Duncan Estate bridal session with you! From the beautiful bride to the gorgeous estate, this bridal session captures the essence of what I’d like to call—a “Sweet Southern Belle” preparing for her special day.

Hannah, the bride-to-be, and soon-to-be pastor’s wife, provided the PERFECT opportunity for me to take wonderful bridal photos that would share her pure joy and excitement to become Mrs. Henderson!

A tradition well-known in the south, bridal sessions are often requested by brides who want to spend a little extra time in their wedding dress before their wedding day and have a beautiful framed portrait displayed at their reception—and I am all for it! I truly enjoyed capturing bridal portraits of Hannah in her gown and think each photo was as stunning as the next!

As if spending time with this sweet Southern belle wasn’t enough (she has such a big heart!), there to assist us, as a sweet Southern momma would, Hannah’s mother joined us during her bridal session to help out. Fluffing Hannah’s dress and veil as needed, Mrs. McGill got straight to work, partnering with me to ensure her daughter got the bridal photos she always dreamed of!

I absolutely enjoy taking bridal portraits and appreciate this Southern tradition as if it were my own! If you’re wondering if you should add a bridal session to your wedding experience, I would highly recommend it! This allows me, as your wedding photographer, to capture more beautiful portraits of you in your dress before your wedding day and it’s another opportunity for me to get to know you as well as help you feel extra comfortable in front of my camera before your wedding day comes!
