I am seriously so excited to share this vibrant artist branding session with you, captured in Greenville, South Carolina! Nestled in her cute and quaint home art studio, Shannon Watson was bursting with creativity (and so much joy!!) as she prepared for the newest launch in her art business, Citron & Salt!
Before Shannon’s branding session, I had the privilege of taking her family photos while I was still pregnant with Alden! We initially met in 2022 through a past bride of mine, and once I met Shannon, it felt as if I knew her forever! She is SO kind and has such a huge heart.
Fast forward to now, Shannon creates colorful works of art with the cutest coworker anyone could have! It was wonderful getting another opportunity to capture these special moments for this incredible momma with her son.
Inspired by her desire to provide affordable artwork without losing its beauty, Shannon is solely focused on making sales that satisfy her clients, while giving God all the glory. While discussing her brand before her photo shoot, she mentioned that starting an art business took her somewhat by surprise!
Being a meticulous woman heavily operating on the right side of her brain (and being an occupational therapist), she knew that God alone encouraged her to pick up a brush and start painting. But she’s also found plenty of ways to incorporate art into her OT clients’ routines as art has a healing power!
Like myself, Shannon is a fellow Florida gal, and I truly enjoyed my time as her brand photographer! Seeing all of the bright and colorful paintings of her newest collection (called Delicate) up close and personal was so much fun! Knowing that they were inspired by our home state, I just had to grab one for myself to round out all of the “boy life” in my own home!
