I am so excited to share this Greenville hair salon branding session for the Brass Bee Salon with you!
I originally heard about this salon soon after moving to the Upstate and was referred by a previous brand client! After getting my haircut and color, I talked with the owner, Tracey (I believe she’s the manager now!) and she booked me for a branding session!
That next month, I showed up excited to capture headshots for the stylists, photos of the salon space (including their boutique-style waiting area), photos of the products they sell, and action shots of the team in their element! I hoped to capture the session with a “fly-on-the-wall” type of perspective!
Here’s the Exact Shot List We Decided On:
- Product shots
- Headshots of the team
- Hairstylists in actions with clients
- Photos of the salon owner
- Photos that shared the space & boutique feel
Although my main focus for this hair salon branding session was to get photos that would be used for Instagram, their website, and email list, I also made incredible connections with a few women thanks to these branding sessions!
I met Keeley, one of the hair stylists, who I booked to do MY hair and makeup for MY branding session in 2021; and then, two years later, she hired me to be her engagement and wedding photographer!
From taking photos as their brand photographer to making new connections that have been a blessing to both my business and life, I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to be their brand photographer for that season. I hope to work with them again in the future!
A Little Disclaimer: These photos are from TWO separate sessions with the Brass Bee spanning several months. And since photographing these sessions, the Brass Bee has moved to a NEW location in Greenville AND added to their team (so some of these girls may or may not work there anymore and the space looks different as well)! *I’ve gotten back into blogging recently and wanted to highlight all the amazing brands I’ve had the privilege of working with over the last few years!*
