Ulmer Park Maternity Session | Laura + Austin

Families

Laura and Austin are a past bride and groom of mine!

They currently live in Georgia but Laura and I have been talking for months about them coming to Florida! While they were down, we planned their maternity session! It’s such a huge privilege being about to document such an exciting season for one of my past TMP Brides! I love seeing the growth in their relationship since their wedding day, not to mention getting to actually spend time with them before or after the session! We got Coldstone after their session and thank goodness it was one of the things Laura was craving! 🙂

As for their session…It rained all morning and the forecast said it was going to rain most of the evening with a small window of light. Well when we got to Ulmer park, it was definitely raining…but we grabbed umbrellas and went with it! Thankfully the rain died down to a sprinkle and we were able to toss the umbrellas!

For the second part of their session, we drove to Sand Key Park where it looked a little stormy and unfortunately we saw lightning as soon as we walked out there. There were countless people all over the beach so we decided to take some more pictures and then get out of there!! I will be honest, it wasn’t the best idea…when we started r u n n i n g back to the car… our hair was standing straight up, which is never a good sign! I learned my lesson..no shooting when lightning can be seen, even if it’s far away!

We all stayed safe and indulged in ice-cream afterwards while we caught up with this sweet couple! Now, Laura could be going into labor any day now with their precious little girl! I can’t wait to meet her <3

Here’s a BUNCH of favorites from their session!

This is what it looked like heading over the bridge to Sand Key!! Not exactly shooting weather…
