I was 17 years old when I first met Selena.

She was is my 4th grade after school care class, always full of personality! Little did I know that I would photograph her senior session and now her engagement photos (11 years later)!!! Time sure flies!

Zach and Selena had a class together in high-school (where they met) and this past June, he and her best friend (Kendall who was also in my after school care class!) figured out a way to surprise her by saying it was Kendall’s moms birthday and to keep her busy. Then when the surprise was ready, Selena walked outside to find Zach sitting on a bench, under a gazebo with a sidewalk leading to him, lined with pictures of them hanging on shepherd hooks! There, he asked her for forever and of course she said yes!!

  Zach is in the military which means a possibility of being deployed, so their wedding will most likely be in 2020 but we just had to photograph their engagement photos while everything is still fresh and while Zach is in town! Selena, you’ve grown up to be such a beautiful person inside and out! I feel so honored to be the one to capture such wonderful milestones so that you can hold onto forever! I’m also extremely happy for you and Zach and can’t wait to celebrate your marriage soon!!
