My favorite part of being a photographer is that I get to capture families along their journey, from their engagement session to their wedding to their first anniversary and their first baby. It is a humble and blessed feeling. Every time I book a client, it is my goal to feel like part of your family; I want you always to think to call me for all of your life milestones.

In the fall, I enjoyed capturing family photos for one of my favorite couples, Heather and Tyler. I shot Heather and Tyler’s wedding, one of their newborn sessions, and now I capture their family sessions every year. 

This adorable family lives in Georgia, but they drove to Greenville, SC, this year for their photos; we started our day in downtown Greenville alongside bright and colorful buildings. I like to think of the downtown area as a mini Charleston because of the bright pink building! We then headed over to Falls Park. Falls Park is a gorgeously maintained park within downtown Greenville with too many photo locations to count. The park is filled with trees, flowers, bridges overlooking streams, and paved walking trails. 

It was a frigid day, however, we laughed the whole time. I captured some great candid moments of Heather, Tyler, and their two beautiful daughters were troopers, and you would never know it was that cold!
