Alex and Tina’s engagement session is one of my favorites to date!
I first met Tina in March of this year, at Kaylee and Dan’s wedding; She was one of Kaylee’s bridesmaids! She contacted me a couple of months ago about wedding photography, so Jon and I met with her and Alex at Panera. We pretty much closed down the place! We had such a great time getting to know them, hearing how they met and how Alex proposed, learning all the details of their wedding day and just talking!
They met at grad school, fell in love and dated for 3 years before he proposed last June (it was almost exactly a year since the proposal when they took their engagement photos, 1 day off!) near the Vinoy with a drone!! I love that it was captured on video for them to watch over and over again, being able to relive that special moment in their life.
They chose the locations for their engagement session and I couldn’t be any happier with how they turned out! First we shot around the Dali Museum in Downtown St Pete (which I’ve never shot at before!) and then headed to the area surrounding the Vinoy, close to where Alex proposed! They were so much fun to photograph and we can not wait for their January wedding! I hope you enjoy a bunch of favorites from their session. 🙂
For these next few photos of the falling flower petals, Jon and Liam may have been shaking the branch to get this epic set of images…haha!
