If you don’t know Emily or Blake, here’s a brief backstory! Emily is a Dental Hygienist and Blake is a Veterinarian! They met while they were both living in Gainesville. Their first date was at a Sushi Restaurant and not long after, they realized that they were tailor made for eachother.

After Blake graduated, he lived in Orlando for almost a year before following Emily home to Tampa where their love blossomed even more! In May of 2018, they went on a family vacation to Emily’s hometown in Indiana, Blake proposed and asked her to marry him! She of course said yes and soon after, started the wedding planning process! Blake’s sister Ali, referred me to photograph their wedding and I’m just so thankful she did! We met with them over Thai & Sushi and planned out their engagement session (which you can see here!) and their day of wedding timeline. Boy did time fly and their wedding was pretty much perfect!

Emily and Blake had one of the most gorgeous weddings we’ve gotten to be a part of!! The overall feeling we felt once we arrived, all the way till we left to head home, was JOY. Emily’s bridesmaids were full of joy as they watched her mom and sister help her into her dress, as she read her letter from Blake and as Mr. Tomlin announced them husband and wife!

Mr. Tomlin, Blake’s dad, got the privilege of marrying these two love birds and it was the sweetest thing!! They did something unique and all of their parents took a turn speaking about them at the beginning of their wedding ceremony. I’m pretty sure everyone was in tears.

The look on both of their faces as they walked down the aisle was pure joy. Some of Blake’s groomsmen surprised him with a toast trio during the reception and read it almost like a poem, you’ll be able to see in the photos that they two were overcome with joy while talking about Emily and Blake!

They are both so kind and genuine, as are their families! They are those kind of people that you meet once and feel like you’ve known them forever! Jon and I had such a blast celebrating them, meeting all their family, closest friends and capturing their beautiful wedding day!
